These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services") provided by OpenRoad Labs LLC ("OpenRoad Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any of our Services — including DontGetFlocked.com, FlockHopper, and DeFlock Maps — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

OpenRoad Labs provides research, educational content, mapping tools, and mobile applications related to automated license plate reader (ALPR) awareness and privacy. Our Services are designed to inform and educate. They are not legal advice and should not be relied upon as such.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Services or their infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Services without our written permission
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Services to facilitate the evasion of law enforcement or to engage in illegal activity

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Services — including text, graphics, logos, data, software, and design — are owned by OpenRoad Labs LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

6. Data and Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about ALPR camera locations and networks. However, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any data presented through our Services. ALPR data may change without notice as cameras are added, moved, or removed.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of our Services may require a paid subscription. If you purchase a subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your chosen payment method at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your device's account settings (App Store for iOS)
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the applicable app store platform

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPENROAD LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OpenRoad Labs LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
